Illinois Renewable Energy and Sustainable Lifestyle Fair Oregon, IL August 13 & 14, 2011. The Illinois Renewable Energy Association (IREA) supports sustainable energy development in Illinois. The IREA provides hands-on opportunities for the Illinois public to learn about the benefits, potentials, and uses of renewable energy and energy-efficiency for our homes and businesses.

Forward Oregon is a not-for-profit organization consisting of local governmental bodies, business owners, and citizens aimed at assisting the Oregon Community in achieving its desired goals. The organization is led by an executive board and segregated into the following committees: Marketing and Development Committee, Community Improvement Committee, Tourism Committee, and the Business Development and Historic Preservation Committee.

Promotes local member businesses in Oregon and surrounding communities.

The Oregon Park District currently manages over 140 acres of park land at ten different park locations in the Oregon area. Outdoor facilities include several baseball/softball diamonds, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, sand volleyball courts, a concert area, two (2) horseshoe courts and river fishing areas. In addition, several picnic shelters are available for group rentals.

Kickapoo exists to protect, preserve and re-naturalize the land in the Mud Creek watershed while developing environmentally considerate demonstration projects and fostering information exchange with like-minded organizations both locally and more broadly. The Kickapoo Mud Creek Nature Conservancy, meeting center and demonstration dwelling are located on approximately 60 acres straddling Mud Creek just northwest of Oregon, Illinois.
